Hi beautiful people, let’s
face it, to be a fashion designer is NO joke, from the never ending late
nights, to the numerous pin pricks, to the sleepless nights because you have
this idea for a beautiful garment and you are thinking of how to go about the
construction, to the annoying little things that can go wrong with your sewing
machine, it’s a love-hate thing, but all you need is a whole lot of
perseverance, love for fashion and a little luck. Now, you are looking for the
perfect place to learn about the (not so) glamorous world of fashion designing
in a perfectly conducive environment, with a beginner’s friendly curriculum,
then dear friend I have the proficient solution “Osas Olumese Training Institute” is the right fit for you.
OOTI was introduced to
me by a friend, on getting there, after being wowed by the property and equipment
of the school, I sat down with the director’s assistant and me being the overly
suspicious, curious and inquisitive being I am, I spent way longer than I was
supposed to, asking questions and giving several scenarios of something going
wrong, but the Sweet lady who attended to me just smiled and attended to all my
enquiries perfectly, leaving me very much satisfied.
My first day at OOTI, was
an amazing one, I was introduced to the members of the family, because really,
OOTI is a close-knit family, from the Director to her assistant to the interns and
the students. I got the hand out for the class I signed up for, and started my
journey on learning about fashion designing. It was a wonderful and very
fulfilling experience, because each class session was a step by step learning
process, with a patient and experienced instructor as your guiding hand, ready
to attend to your every question, which was the way till I finished my class.
So in regards to the
title, I say YES! With Osas Olumese
Training Institute, you can coin a bespoke fashion design career, and you would
be ready to take one the world. But note, before you get discouraged because
fashion designing is not as easy as you thought it would be, just remember the
saying “Rome wasn’t built in day”, all you need is a little more practice.
Think about the Donatella Versaces, Oliver Rousteings, Oscar de Larentas, Deola
Sagoes, Bridget Awosikas and Karl Lagerfields of the world once
being in the same situation you currently are and keep the torch of fashion
burning bright and strong.
