I remember these words of my mother while growing up; even till this day she keeps saying it. While growing up, on hearing these words, I would feel like pulling out my hair, as most times the words are provoked by a poorly done chore.

Mummy always loved work to be done to perfection, and she doesn't accept anything less. If she notices any imperfections, she will voice out those words of hers.

These words framed my work habit, thus I ensured that whatever I did, I do it in the best possible way I know it can be done.

I notice that persons who learn the skill of sewing in a haphazard manner, always find it difficult to change the narrative when they become experts. The truth is that you bring your personality and your work habit into anything you do, and learning a skill also.
