The Starter: Sewing and Pattern Drafting Course – Skirts covers an introduction to sewing and pattern drafting, and teach students on drafting and manipulating a basic skirt block resulting in a variety of skirts.  We'll look at how to draft flared skirts, including A–line flares and bias flares (mermaid skirt).  You'll also learn to make gathered and pleated skirts—specifically inverted box pleats, and knife pleats. We'll move on to going step–by–step through drafting different styles from the block.  You'll explore how to lower the waistline and add a contoured waistband (bask),  Create an empire (high waist) waistline complete with a facing. You can add a twist to your skirt with a peplum, or flounce. And yes!, a wrap skirt,  Godet skirts,  Pieces skirts… So much interesting skirt styles, your wardrobe would not be lacking . Duration: Weekday Option: 8 weeks (four times a week) Evening Classes: 10 weeks (three times a week)

In order to maximize the available space, two courses would run almost concurrently, with one running between the hours of 9:00am and 1:30pm (Tuesdays to Fridays), while the other would run between the hours of 11:00am and 3:30pm (Mondays to Thursdays). So today, I went to the market after service (please don't judge me)... guilty conscience . I then decided to get myself my current favorite biscuit... Igloo Coconut Cookies. As I pointed it to the biscuit to the seller, a lady I met there told me about this NEW biscuit, I should try... OK. I left what I had in mind to buy, and got myself this NEW biscuit. As soon as I  had the opportunity,  I opened the biscuit to enjoy it.
